IC4W/TAK is a unique integrated incident management software platform.
It is comprised of the IC4W incident management SaaS application and the TAK real-time tactical situational awareness software toolset.
The two integrated applications work in tandem to exchange data in support of all levels of emergency operations including mobile teams operating in the field using smart phones.
IC4W/TAK forms the basis for the Ground Search and Rescue Incident Command System (GSAR ICS) solution (https://gsar-ics.com), which is designed to support all-hazards emergency management.
IC4W/TAK represents a highly configurable and adaptable solution that can be molded and shaped to meet any critical incident management requirements.
For example, the IC4W/TAK platform can integrate large volumes of data from multiple sources, such as live feeds as well as data from drones and other real-time sensors – and it is integrated with MedicAlert Foundation Canada’s Emergency Health Information database.
Importantly, among a host of other capabilities, the IC4W/TAK platform enables interoperability among collaborating organizations so they can share information and coordinate activities effectively for improved emergency outcomes.
The IC4W/TAK software platform is supported by an industry team consisting primarily of CounterCrisis Tech and KWESST Micro Systems Inc., two Ottawa-based companies committed to supporting emergency management and public safety organizations including the increasingly vital non-profit and volunteer sectors.
